Angra is alive, his Decay is spreading—and no one is safe.
Meira will do anything to save her world. With Angra trying to break through her mental defenses, she desperately needs to learn to control her own magic—so when the leader of a mysterious Order from Paisly offers to teach her, she jumps at the chance. But the true solution to stopping the Decay lies in a labyrinth deep beneath the Season Kingdoms. To defeat Angra, Meira will have to enter the labyrinth, destroy the very magic she’s learning to control—and make the biggest sacrifice of all.
Mather will do anything to save his queen. He needs to rally the Children of the Thaw, find Meira—and finally tell her how he really feels. But with a plan of attack that leaves no kingdom unscathed and a major betrayal within their ranks, winning the war—and protecting Meira—slips farther and farther out of reach.
Ceridwen will do anything to save her people. Angra had her brother killed, stole her kingdom, and made her a prisoner. But when she’s freed by an unexpected ally who reveals a shocking truth behind Summer’s slave trade, Ceridwen must take action to save her true love and her kingdom, even if it costs her what little she has left.
As Angra unleashes the Decay on the world, Meira, Mather, and Ceridwen must bring the kingdoms of Primoria together…or lose everything.

So I’ve not actually read that blurb. Except that first line – I tried so hard!! I don’t actually know what it means. This is the third book in the Snow Like Ashes trilogy and I’m yet to read number 2. I really enjoyed number 1, I gave it 5 voodoos despite the love triangle hints floating about the place, so at that point I decided to wait till the whole trilogy was out to read it. I have number 2 of course and I hope to read them both ready for book 3, but…best laid plans…

My review for book 1 can be found HERE.

The reason I’ve not read this blurb is because I’ve not read book 2 and whenever I read the blurb of book three without reading book 2 I always stumble upon a spoiler. I don’t want that to happen here. So, I’ve pretty much been waiting for book three since I finished book 1 and it’s been on my pre-order list for FOREVER. But the end is nigh and soo it will be in my hands!

What books are you waiting for? What do I need to be adding to my pre-order list? It’s getting short!

I always prefer to wait until more of the books in a series are out before they read them. I’ve got book 1 and 2 sat on my shelf but still haven’t read either of them. Just skipped the blurb on here so not to ruin it but I am really exited to get started on them. Plus, the covers are GORGEOUS!

I do that too!! But I’m trying more to at least read the first one in case I don’t like the story or the writing style, because in the past I’ve done that, then hated the first book and spent a lot of money that could have been spent on nicer books. If I love the first one, I keep collecting. I hope you enjoy them! I look forward to seeing your thoughts
