1 Leather bound Narnia

I’ve been on the hunt for a pretty copy of The Chronicles of Narnia for years. This one looks like it’s spectacular! and several hundred pounds…

2 Ravenclaw themed Harry Potter

But I do think they’re only available in american. Where-by I mean book 1 is Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone instead of Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone which is sad and not at all acceptable for my shelves (sorry Americans…)

3 Matching set of Valdemar books

I believe they’re being re-published with matching cover styles. The majority of my collection were bought from sellers and the new ones are all of a type, but that’s a lot of books to re-buy. I’ve saved up and done it with another series, but I always think about the other things I could have got, VS having a nice matching set. I’m still on the fence about what kind of idea that was…
I especially don’t want any of that omnibus stuff either.

4 A Fancy copy of Pride and Prejudice

No idea if I actually like this one yet, sort of scared to find out, but I’d love to own a beautiful edition. Unfortunately it seem that the cloth bound one is green and yellow – Not my favourite colours!

5 New Old versions of The Nightworld Series

Mine are pretty crumbly at this point. I found the first at a book fair in near perfect condition and with a loaded gift card I’d sit and order copy after copy till I got the covers I wanted in a satisfactory condition…NO OMNIBUSES!

6 Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

I’m presuming this magic gift card can get us anything we want? And I want this soooo bad! It feels like I’ve been waiting forever for book two! Is it September yet?

7 Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

I’ve seen some great reviews and some terrible reviews of Nevernight and when a book splits the reading community so dramatically I can’t help but want to see why. It’s difficult to part with your hard earned cash when your not sure whether you will love or hate a book but if I was given the cash I would definitely consider buying this one just to see what the fuss is all about. I haven’t read any other books by Jay Kristoff but thanks to this book he’s on my radar now.

8 The Newest Cover Set of Delirium by Lauren Oliver

I know it’s petty but my cover of Delirium doesn’t bloody match anything! I got this cover:
Delirium
I really enjoyed Lauren Oliver’s writing and I really enjoyed the story but when book two came out it was a completely different design. That really annoyed me and so I refused to buy it until I was sure book 3 was going to be the same design. But when book three came out there was yet another design available. Unable to choose which covers to get I never bought or finished this series.
Now there’s yet another new cover design but I quite like this one. If I could I’d buy this set and finally finishing this trilogy.

9 The Whole Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett in Hardback

The Discworld Hardback Library editions are beautiful and if I could afford it I’d buy the whole set. They’re LUSH!

10 The Princess and The Goblin by George MacDonald

This edition is the new Puffin Classic and I love it. The artwork is by Hari and Deepti. I’d love to own a piece by them but I would also love to own this book. My Grandad used to read it to us when we were small but I have no idea where that copy has gone.

You were thinking along the same lines as me. I went for the lovely, expensive choices. Actually they verged on silly since they were so expensive.

Those Ravenclaw HP editions sure look amazing – I’d love to get the Slytherin ones. :)
The new cover designs for Delirium are so gorgeous. Unfortunately, I ended up giving up on the series, because I knew a bit about what was to come in the sequels and didn’t want to continue.
Hope both of you will be able to get all these books soon! :)
