1 Clockwork Angel

By Cassandra Clare

I know that it’s only 5 books away from what I’m currently reading, but what I AM reading is something I’ve read/seen before where as Clockwork Angel is something new and exciting! I know I need to read the first series first, but I’m getting impatient for all the secrets and inside jokes I keep finding on pinterest! Plus these books aren’t small and things are horribly busy right now so I probably won’t get to it before September ) :

2 The Six of Crows

by Leigh Bardugo

It’s so pretty! And I’ve heard good things and I want to understand! But as always, I heard it was a cliffy so I’m waiting till book 2 is out before I consider starting this, just so that I only have a little while to wait if I like book 1 enough to order book 2 right afterwards.

3 Stealing Snow

by Danielle Paige

I’ve been lucky enough to receive an ARC copy via Netgalley and I’m so excited! I saw it come up on the feed of someone I follow on GoodReads and I thought it sounded fantastic. I’m looking forward to reading this – hopefully soon!

4 Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, Jack Thorne

I don’t own this yet. Shocking I know! But Heat me out, because one of this months subscription box themes is Hogwarts House Pride and there’ll be a newly released book inside. Now, makes sense that in the HARRY POTTER box there will be a HARRY POTTER book, no? So I don’t want too copies. Besides I’m not going to be able to read it before the box turns up anyway. But I found it in Sainsburys the other day and I read the first page and I want it now…

5 The Fate of the Tearling

by Erika Johansen

I know it’s not out yet, but I really need to know what the heck is going on in this world. I mean really! It’s got me so intrigued and confused and I’m ready to be wowed by the finale. I have no idea where it’s going next and I’ll be happy to just get stuck in once it’s here.

At the end of the year I always look at all the amazing nominations in the Goodreads awards and don’t understand how I didn’t get round to reading them! So this month I asked the goodreads community for some MUST READ 2016 suggestions and here are some of those suggestions…

the last star REBEL OF THE SANDs serpent king salt to the sea unexpected everything

6 The Last Star

by Rick Yancey

I loved The 5th Wave and The Infinite Sea and I need to know how this trilogy ends. Very excited to finish this series.

7 Rebel of the Sands

by Alwyn Hamilton

Paein loved this one and I meant to read it as soon as it came out but I still haven’t got round to it. I must read it this year though. I just have too!

8 The Serpent King

by Jeff Zentner

This was on so many bloggers lists recently and it sounded amazing. I’ve really taken to contemporary YA this year. Can’t wait to read this one.

9 Salt to the Sea

by Ruta Septys

Another one that came highly recommended by the blogging community. I read an excerpt of this early this year and need to read this soon.

10 The Unexpected Everything

by Morgan Matson

And another contemporary YA that I’m dying to read – I don’t think it needs much of an explanation.

Wow, you’ve got a lot on this list I’m eager to read too. Stealing Snow and Rebel of the Sands both sound really interesting and I really want to finish The Cursed Child before I see any spoilers. Great list!

Your list could be my list, except for the books in a series which I haven’t finished up to this point. You’ve got some good ones on your TBR pile.
