This box is the best yet!
Just a warning this is an unboxing so if you haven’t received yours yet please look away now!
I’ve linked to pages where ever possible.
P.S. I know Book Stuff is usually a Sunday post but I couldn’t wait to share it with you. Enjoy!
Unlike previous months I had completely avoided Instagram and Twitter in the hopes of avoiding spoilers. I didn’t have a clue what might be in this box and I was dying to get my hands on it and discover everything for myself.
Sooo on opening the box I was greeted by the lovely yellow logo card which I immediately hid so I didn’t see the packing list on the back
Straight away, I could see that this box was cramped full of goodies. My first squealy moment was when I saw the tote bag squeezed down the edge, even more squeals when I realised it was a Gilmore Girls inspired design. I love Gilmore Girls.
This tote bag was created by Colorful Geekiness and is really sturdy. I can see I’m going to be using this alot.
The biggest squealing moment was when I realised there wasn’t just one but TWO books in this box. TWO!!!
Introducing book one:
The Graces by Laure Eve
I’ve never heard of this book before but I love the sound of it. Laure Eve has written a lovely letter explaining what inspired her to write this book about magic, obsession and witches. Along with the letter I received a bookplate and some temporary/transfer tattoes. I’ve already been to her tumbler page and feel I would be a water witch.
Next up was some Drink Me Strawberry Tea by Post Tea. It smells amazing and comes with helpful instructions on how to put the bags together yourself. I’ve recently cut back on regular tea (oh how I miss caffeine) but I think fruit tea maybe the way forward!
There were two Coasters entiteld ‘Trio Coasters’ These were by Taratjah Art and show the Harry Potter Trio (in book and script form).
And I completely loved all the Extract Cards, from Red Rising, A Torch Against the Night and Unboxed. The Red Rising Cards are beautifully designed. I may have to get them framed.
These beautiful Colouring Quote Cards are by Ashley Poston and are probably one of my favourite extras in this box. I can’t wait to get my colouring stuff out and get to work… question is pens or pencils. hmmmm.
And last but definitely not least we have the second and most exciting book!
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff!
I’m soooo over the moon that this was in this months box. I requested it (*cough* Twice) on netgalley and didn’t get it and I was gutted because I’d read so many amazing reviews about it. Now I can finally find out what all the fuss was about. YES!
All in all the most amazing box. Daphne out did herself this month. I can’t wait for the next Illumicrate. Is it November yet?
