I only got Katherine Kerr books today it seems, because she has a fantastic name, and a nice lady at the fair persuaded me to. (Well she said ‘they’re good!’ haha)

Daggerspell, Darkspell, Dawnspell and Dragonspell.

I know I know, I got Daggerspell last year, but this is a matching set. Shh…

A Time of Exile and A Time of War.

they didn’t have a time of Omens, boo. But I thought that If I didn’t buy what was there, I’d love it all and really regret it.

The Red Wyvern

which turns out is book 9 in the whole thing. Meh!

I couldn’t help myself I found the sci-fi and fantasy section…

The Rosie Effect by Graeme Simsion

I haven’t even read book one of this series but I figured I’d pick this up anyway. Worst case scenerio I’ve wasted a pound.

Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins

I knew Suzanne Collins had written some other books other than the Hunger Games but I’ve never bought them. For a pound I thought it was at least worth checking out.

Wildthorn by Jane Eagland

The cover of this was so gorgeous I bought it just based on that but it seems some of my goodread friends have rated this quite highly.

2312 by Kim Stanley Robinson

I don’t read much pure sci-fi but this sounded interesting.

Iron Crowned by Richelle Mead

This was the only concession I made in that its book 3 of a series. I refused to buy anything that I couldn’t get hold of book 1 of but this is Richelle Mead people! I’m sure I’ll love it…

The Study Series by Maria V Snyder

Apparently this is where it all starts so when I saw books 1, 2 and 3, all together and with matching covers I thought why not! I snatched these up.

Dark Embers by Tessa Adams

Look at that hunky fella! I do love an adult paranormal/ urban fantasy romance. Hoping to get stuck into this soon.

Winter’s Tale by Mark Helprin

I watched the film of this on the plane to Mexico 2 years ago and I remember thinking at the time that there must be so much more detail behind this, and I bet the book is so much better. Well now I can find out.

Soulbound by Tessa Adams

By the same author of Dark Embers and while I’ve never heard of her before, her books sound quite interesting. It will be hard to choose which series to start first!

Moon Called by Patricia Briggs

I’ve wanted to read this series forever. I’m hoping it will live up to my expectations now.
