Stack the Shelves Saturday

mechanica glimpse Five-Flavors-of-Dumb Darkest Minds

Stacking the shelves is a meme hosted by Tyngas Reviews. It’s a weekly haul meme designed for book lovers who need to share the enthusiasm for books that have been bought or borrowed that you’re terribly excited about or that you might not get around to review any time soon.

This week I didn’t buy any new books but kind of inherited part of Paein’s book shelf. She had a huge collection of books that she was clearing out and I couldn’t help myself I had to have these!

Mechanica

by Betsy Cornwell

Sounds really good and Paein quite enjoyed it but didn’t think it was worth keeping a copy of so I thought I would give it a go and see what I thought.

Glimpse

God I actually remember adding this to my TBR back in 2012! That cover is gorgeous. I have no idea what its about or whether I will actually like it but just for that cover I asked Paein if I could have it.

Five Flavours of Dumb

by Antony John

This isn’t my usual kind of book but quite a few of my goodreads friends have rated it highly so I’m willing to give it a go.

The Darkest Mind

by Alexander Bracken

I’m not sure if I will like this. I tried her newest book Passenger recently and I just couldn’t get into it at all! But I noticed on Goodreads that quite a few people who loved this series didn’t actually like Passenger either so fingers crossed it’s just one of those books.

Not a bad collection considering they are all free!

Great haul! The Darkest Minds is one of my absolute favorite series! I, also, have tried to pick up Passenger a time or two and just… so far, the farther I’ve gotten into it is like 50 pages. XD BUT, The Darkest Minds is great–really really love that one, so hopefully you do too!

Fingers crossed you enjoy your recent bookish acquisitions! Happy book-ing to you in the near future! Here’s my Stacking the Shelves, if you’re interested–but no worries if you’re not! Have a great weekend! <3

Thanks Beth! I hope I love it too, I think 50 pages is about as far as I got into Passenger too lol. Popping over to your blog now :P
      Happy Reading!
