(You’ve been warned! If you don’t want to see the contents of October’s FairyLoot box then look no further. )

We like stuff.
We LOVE book stuff.
Join us on those sundays where we’re just bursting with excitement as we show off our new book stuff!
Please link back to us if you too are a lover of showing off stuff on Sundays, thank you.

This is my first Fairyloot box, so we’ll go with Ms4Tune’s intro for this as she’s done them before:

“Let’s start with a little bit about what FairyLoot Box is.

It’s a monthly subscription service that costs £26 / month plus shipping. If you’re in the UK the shipping is £4.30 and they do ship internationally but I’m not sure how much the shipping costs. There is a new FairyLoot box each month and you can sign up for the boxes individually (at the end of each month) or subscribe for 6 or 12 months at a time.”

It does seem that you can now subscribe to Fairyloot too, because apparently I did that instead of just buying the one off box. Oops. But after this box I’m really not complaining! So, why do I have this box this month instead of Ms4Tune? Well, Ms4Tune likes to know what the theme is before she buys the box and this month’s theme was far more my thing. I’ve been admiring Fairyloot boxes for months and it just has such a fantastic name.

What I Thought:

Wow! So much fantastic! I haven’t heard of Metaltown before, but I have another of Kristin Simmons books on my TBR. I’m not sure about the jewellery to be honest, I’m in a period of earrings only right now, sometimes I just cant stand having rings etc but they are pretty to look at! I LOVE candles and this candle is just fantastic, almost makes me regret getting rid of my Divergent books. Almost. The tea towel I nearly just took to use at work, but when I opened and read it I realised I needed to find a way to display it! It’s got a fantastic quote on it “One must always be careful of books and what is inside of them for words have the power to change us.” from The Infernal Devices. Then there was the magnetic bookmark. I LOVE Happy Hello Inc bookmarks, I have a wall of them, I already had this one but it will make a fantastic gift. The washi tape is just fantastic and I can’t wait to use it in my Bullet Journal!! And the lip balm. I love lip balm and I think this may be the best I’ve had from Behind the pages. The other’s I’ve found to be too strongly scented. This is perfect and it’s also GLITTERY!!! Which is actually disappointing for the fact that it means the Magnus Bane one COULD HAVE been glittery and it just isn’t. I don’t know this Elias, but I doubt he’s as glittery as Magnus. Am I wrong?

Plus there’s this buddy read system! I haven’t found my buddy yet though ) :

I’m looking forward to the next fairyloot box now. My six month subscription for one of the others is running out soon and I’ll need to re-assess my subscriptions.
