1 Book Cases

Where would we be without these?! No Shelfies! No where to keep our books safe and looking good! No where to add all the book themed paraphernalia we happen to collect for bookish photos! I got some fantastically sturdy ones from Ikea that don’t bow when piled full of books and I love them!

2 Book Themed Candles

So I’ve recently combined two obsessions and come up with a super obsession! I’m not even joking. I have a problem. They’re just so pretty and smell so good! If I burn them they’re gone! I’m trying to cut it out – running out of Fandoms anyway, but I’m concerned what my next obsession will be…

3 Book Subscription Boxes

These are amazing! Surprise books and book themed goodies that are  exclusive are just 110% exciting! I have a pile of books now that I wouldn’t have necessarily bought for myself. I won’t like them all I’m sure, but some I will and that’s exciting.

4 Fan Art

There are tons of pictures out there drawn by fans. Some of them might not draw the characters the way you imagine, some might. But when you’re lacking actual people or even drawings, sometimes it’s nice to see the sketches. I want to include fan theories and to some extent fanfics in here too. The world is full of creative people and watching them run with ideas and work out plot holes and fix problems is just amazing.

5 Fixed Computer

So my computer broke. I wasn’t pleased because it’s kind of an important tool for blogging AND I’d only had it two months. So I sent it off to be fixed and it returned! With no operating system….
It’s now back and fully operational! So I have no excuse for not replying to comments now….sorry about that…

6 The Library

This year I moved and now there is a library just round the corner from where I live! I’m surprised by how many different books I can get my hands on now and for free! Very thankful for this resource. Everyone should use their libraries because it would be terrible if we lost this privilege.

7 Goodreads

I check goodreads everyday. No joke, literally, every day. I couldn’t imagine life without it! I love getting all the updates on what everyone else is reading and even the odd sneaky personal update too. I love seeing new books and joining in with all the gossip. Yes it’s had its problems but I still feel that the Goodreads community is supportive and I enjoy chatting with people who share the same level of excitement about books as I do.

8 Amazon Freebies

So, not every freebie is great, in all honestly I’m lucky if 1 in 5 of the freebies, I download, end up being ok but every now and then, I stumble across an awesome book that I would never have picked up otherwise. It’s like kindle roulette but I’m thankful for them because I wouldn’t have found Easy Bake Coven by Liz Schulte or Marked by Kim Richardson or even Hollowland by Amanda Hocking.

9 My Kindle

I love my kindle. I carry it everywhere with me. I’m so indecisive about what I want to read but by having my kindle with me, jam packed full of books of every genre, I can always find something to read.

10 The Invention of the Shelfie

This may be insane but I just love to browse through shelfies on instagram. I think it’s an addiction… Whoever came up with this is a genius. It’s basically porn for book nerds… and I LOVE IT!
