Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys
Such a wonderfully heartbreaking story. I’m only 30% of the way through so far but I’ve already done a ton of research into the Wilhelm Gustloff and can’t believe that I’ve never heard of it before.It’s like the first time you watch Titanic – you know the ending but you still hope that somehow everything will turn out fine…

We’re going to be a week behind each musing monday as we sadly can’t post on the day anymore but we’re loving the random questions and we will try and get round everyone’s posts when we can!
So what challenges have we joined this year? Well Paein and I are challenge junkies but every year we fail miserably at them because we try and do to many in one go. So this year we’re doing just two challenges…
Firstly we decided on the Uppercase book challenge #UCReadingChallenge2017 – which is a nice short list and will hopefully help us read some very different books this year and…
Yes we set our own challenge this year! We both wanted to do more on instagram this year and love browsing all the #bookstagram tags out there, especially the rainbow ones etc. So we thought why not set ourselves something simple, colourful and something that will allow us the freedom to read what we want when we want. Should be fun! Can’t wait to see the mix of books I have at the end of this month! I’ve had fun pulling all the blue books off my shelves in preparation.
