1 Shades of Magic
by V.E. Schwab
Ms4Tune loves this series and I intended to give it a go too. I find it’s more urgent now, as I’ll be wanting to take my books to YALC at the end of July! So here’s hoping I’ll at least read the first book soon.
2 Night Angel Series
by Brent Weeks
I’ve had this series forever. I forget why I bought it, except it probably has something to do with the fact it’s about assassins….
3 Lords of the Underworld
by Gena Showalter
Another series Ms4Tune is a fan of. I’m guessing these will be something like The Black Dagger Brotherhood/Darkhunter/Midnight Breed, all of which I’ve enjoyed some of! (need to catch up with them!).
4 Disc world
by Terry Pratchett
I’m a little scared to read these to be honest, in case I don’t like them. I want to and they sound like my kind of story, but yeah…
5 The Nevernight Chronicle
by Jay Kristoff
Assassins! Not sure why I like assassins to be honest, but I do. And I’m really excited for book 2 and I haven’t read book 1 yet…Kind of hoping that Mark The Page will be doing the rumoured Godsgrave box…

6 Throne of Glass
by Sarah J Maas
I remember getting very excited about the release of Throne of Glass. I preordered the first book and quickly bought all the novella’s – some of which I have read… but for some reason I just never got round to reading the book. That was back in 2012! 2012!!! Seriously? What’s more embarrassing is, I’ve been ordering the sequels as they come out so on my bookshelf I have a pile of 5 Sarah J Maas books that I’ve not touched. I will not be letting myself order Tower of Dawn until I have read at least Throne of Glass.
7 The Winner’s Trilogy
by Marie Rutkoski
I also bought the Winner’s Trilogy as it came out. I loved the covers and the story sounded like the perfect blend of fantasy and romance for me so I’m not entirely sure how I still haven’t read them. Maybe this summer…
8 His Fair Assassin
by Robin LaFevers
Oh dear another series I got overly excited about and ended up buying each book as they were released, but never actually read… I thought this was only going to be a trilogy but there seems to be another 2 books in the pipeline according to Goodreads. The next ones due for release next year so perhaps now is the perfect time to read these?
9 Shattered Sea
by Joe Abercrombie
I’ve never read any of Joe Abercrombies other books so I thought this would be a good place to start. Again I’ve already bought some of this series but I think it’s acceptable because I actually got Half A King and Half the World (as hardbacks) in a sale so they were very very reasonable priced. Will definitely have to read them before I got in search of book 3 though (and it annoys me that its not mainly white like the other two. I do like a set that looks the same).
10 Soul Eaters
by Eliza Crewe
I’ve wanted to read this series for ages but I’ve only recently purchased Cracked and can not wait to read it. I think these covers are amazing, don’t you?
I really liked Cracked! But haven’t gotten around to the others. Discworld is really great and so many stories to choose from. <3
True! I like to start at the start though and there’s more than one with Discworld! The colour of magic is my identified start…
Oh man! I love the covers of Half The King books!
Great list! a few series from here I haven’t started yet.
My TTT.
The Shades of Magic books are amazing! I also really love Throne of Glass. The rest I haven’t read, but I have the first His Fair Assassin book on my TBR as well as the first Winner’s book.

I’m looking forward to reading them! May have to read them before Throne of Glass!
I really liked His Fair Assassin and The Winner’s Trilogy so I’d recommend them.
Many of your list should also be on mine! The Star Touched Queen Duology is really good though, I recommend that too!
Hope you enjoy! I’m glad to hear it.
