It’s funny because it’s in a book, but really as an actual name it’s nothing short of unfortunate…

2 Brianna Randell – A Dragonfly in Amber

by Diana Gabaldon

Been listening to this as an audio book. I know things I shouldn’t for where I am, but every time I hear her called “Brianna Randell” it sets my teeth on edge.
It’s not Frank’s fault, it’s true but I just can’t stand it.
Poor Jamie.

3 Eustace Clarence Scrubb – The Chronicles of Narnia

by C.S. Lewis

“There was once a boy called Eustace Clarence Scrubb and he almost deserved it.”

I like Eustace. I like Clarence, but all together it’s a little much. Mostly I wanted to quite the book. Luckily he doesn’t always deserve it and goes through a fantastic transformation.

4 America Singer – The Selection Series

by Kiera Cass

Not sure if I don’t like the name because I don’t like the character or what. What came first? The name of the country or the name for people? People shouldn’t share names with places, it get’s too confusing. Yes, I know places were named after people, but we don’t have to reciprocate…

5 Renesmee Carlie Cullen – The Twiligh Saga

By Stephanie Meyer

Huh? It just gets sillier when you realise her nickname is what we call the Loch Ness Monster….Because Mae is too obvious, clearly. (Ren-ez-mae)
