1 Everless

by Sara Holland

This book makes me think of Timeless – a film I half watched for the plot and half watched to see if Justin Timberlake was any good at acting. (I loved it, so I guess the answer was yes?) I look forward to seeing how this works out in book form!
This is a Netgalley book which comes out in January. I’m going to try and get into this reviewing lark again in the next few months, I hope…

2 The Last Hour

by Harry Sidebottom

Generally I don’t read books set in real dead history. Partially because I fear it’s boring, but also because you’re kind of limited to actual history – unless you create an alternate reality, but the description of this book really grabbed my attention – ‘One man. A Thousand enimies. 24 hours to stay alive…’
This is another Netgalley book and It’s out in March.

3 The Sacrifice Box

by Martin Stewart

Netgalley was selling this with the tag “if you liked Stranger Things…” Now, I’m OBSESSED with Stranger Things, and I do mean that, I’m re-watching it…again. I didn’t request it though as I was lucky enough to get a copy in one of my book boxes but that intro means I’m even more excited to read it!
This comes out in January.

4 The Waking Land

By Callie Bates

I’ve had an ARC of this for a while, but I have so few green books for December that this is going to have to be The One!
This came out in June.

5 Meddling Kids

by Edgar Cantero

I finally got my hands on this book and I really want to read it ASAP, plus after all those review books, I think I deserve a little nostalgic fun!

6 Before the Devil Breaks You

by Libba Bray

The Diviners was a series I started in 2015. They’re pretty chunky books but they are worth it, so don’t be put off by their size! I can’t wait to return to the 1920′s and get stuck into Before the Devil Breaks You.

7 Forest of a Thousand Lanterns

by Julie C Dao

I got this recently in a Fairyloot box and it sounds really exciting and different. It’s getting some good reviews so I hope I will love it too.

8 Everything Everything

by Nicola Yoon

I want to read this one as my Book Made Into A Film book in my Uppercase Book Box Challenge.

9 Flame in the Mist

by Renee Ahdieh

I got this one on Netgalley ages ago and feel bad that I have yet to read it especially as its got so many rave reviews.

10 Paris for One and Other Stories

by Jojo Moyes

I can’t bring myself to read After You yet so I thought this would be perfect filler till I can work myself up to it. I love Jojo Moyes, she’s one of my favourite authors and I can’t go a year without reading something by her.

Excellent list! I haven’t heard of most of these, which is always a good thing (for me anyway, pushes me to look outside my usual lane).

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!

I love Yoon and Everything, Everything was wonderful. I thought Waking Land was a promising start to the series, and would definitely continue the series, and Moyes is always great. Hope you get to read them all!
