Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish that other bloggers are welcome to join in, to create Top Ten lists on varying topics. This week it’s Top Ten Bookish Settings We’d Love to Visit
Paein
1 Hogwarts
Harry Potter by J K Rowling
Does this really need elaborating on?
Of all the places we see in the wizarding world, this has got to be the most magical.
2 The Collegium
Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey
I’d hope to be Chosen as a Herald, but barring that, I could be an assistant to the Companions, right?!
3 The Night Bazaar
The Star Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi
Well, it sounds pretty fun, but also kind of scary. I’d need a guide…
4 Lyra’s Oxford
Northern Lights by Phillip Pullman
Yeah, I just want a Daemon…
5 Westeros
A Game of Thrones by George R R Martin
Probably a stupid idea, I’d likely be dead within 5 minutes, but freaking DRAGONS!

6 San-Francisco – The Two Sisters Bar and Books
When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
Who doesn’t want to go to a bar that combines cocktails and limited edition books! Am I right? Also the fact that the fog in San Francisco has it’s own name really makes me want to visit and see it for myself.
7 The Riverlands
Songs of the Current by Sarah Tolcser
My father-in-law has a canal boat and I quite enjoy going on holiday on it. I love the sound of the Riverlands with its little water villages and its community feel. Totally some place I wouldn’t mind ending up.
8 The Desert Lands
Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton
I don’t know why. I actually really detest the heat in the summer but for some reason I would love to visit the Desert Lands, I think it may have something to do with the magic and the Djinnis.
9 The Island
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
I’d love to go and spend a little time on the Island that hosted Caraval, obviously while Caraval is on.
10 The Village/ Moor
Reservoir 13 by Jon McGregor
We’re never actually told exactly where this book is set but I quite like that because you get to build up your own idea of this quiet little village rather than picturing a specific village in England. I loved the way the countryside was described in this book, so much so that it made this list!
Westeros would be fun . . . until you got decapitated.
Hogwarts and the Island from Caraval were also on my list!
