1 To Kill a Kingdom
by Alexandra Christo
So, The Little Mermaid?! Just darker.
Ah, I look forward to meeting you Lira.
2 The Beast’s Heart
by Leife Shallcross
Ok, not only are the ARC’s beautiful, but the actual cover is too!!! So very beautiful. AND it’s a Beauty and the Beast story from the Beast’s point of view!
Plus the girl is called Isabeau and I love that name, so this is just going to be perfect.
Please.
3 Thunderhead
by Neal Shusterman
Aww I’m really looking forward to this book! I didn’t expect to like Scythe as much as I did and I know I’ll need to re-read it, but I’m also really ready to find out what will happen next!
4 Sightwitch
by Susan Dennard
It’s not Bloodwitch, but I’ll take it!
This is 0.5 when I was 3 but I like this world so I’ll be adding it to the collection ASAP. I will probably keep it until Bloodwitch though and read them all at once…
5 Tempests and Slaughter
by Tamora Pierce
Ahhh! Numair’s back story!!!
A little nervous about this one to be honest. I do love a bit of Tamora Pierce, except for the last one. In some circles, we pretend it doesn’t exist. We own it, but it just doesn’t fit in with what was meant to have happened AT ALL so we pretend we don’t (no I’m not just talking about myself…) so here’s hoping that this one is back on par with all the rest!
