Top Ten Tuesday: Freebie – Bookish Things We’ve Collected Recently

pamstopten

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is a Top Ten Freebie (create your own topic) – Bookish Things We’ve Collected Recently

1 Scarf

In the March Fairyloot box they sent us a scarf with Angelic Runes inspired by the books by Casandra Clare. I was pretty excited about this scarf too! I haven’t finished these books yet but I still love this world.

2 Candles

I love candles and bookish candles are even better! It’s one of the best things you can get in a book box.
My favourite candle supplier is no longer producing candles and I haven’t found a replacement – which is probably good as I have candles coming out of my ears. Periodically I consider burning some – and I have actually burnt 2! I have a small pile of others that I might burn too, but not the ones I was collecting…

3 Pins

I really like the pins that now seem to come as standard in the NerdyPost Boxes! I have a fondness for pins – though I’m not sure why.

4 Bookmarks

I’m collecting various bookmarks, but my largest collection would be the ones by HappyHelloCo.
Some are in the books they belong to or on the shelves next to them. The rest are now being displayed on one of those photo grids! I’m quite proud of my collection.

5 Perfume

I have a somewhat obsessive fondness for Behind The Pages perfume….I have a huge collection and more on the way…
They’re roll on oils with no alcohol and there is such a wide selection of scents based on many different characters from different books that there really is something for everyone.
I’m running out of ones to buy myself so I’m buying them for everyone else now!

6 Blind Date with a Book

I found a really cool website recently (through instagram) which sells books wrapped in brown paper. All you know about the book is a few choice words that they print on the front. I was so excited I bought two… only problem was that my husband told me I couldn’t open them when they arrived. I could only open it when I felt like reading it… After a lot of crudely chosen words I had to admit that he was probably right and they are now sitting on my shelves still nicely wrapped up in their brown paper waiting for that moment when I can find time to read them. *Cries inside*

7 Melvis Makes Book Sleeves

I have been following Melvis Makes on Instagram for ages and as I finally had a bit of spare cash I thought I would treat myself to a couple of very gorgeous book jackets… A beautiful Woodlands Animal print and a gorgeous Alice in Wonderland one. They are so amazing and I love the contrasting insides. They are so well made it makes me so happy and my books look so pretty.

8 Enamel Mugs by Temporary Places

I couldn’t resist anymore. When I saw this come up on Etsy again for Pre-Orders I just had to have one (this and the Moriar – Tea mug). I wasn’t a massive enamel mug fan until I received the Mind Palace Enamel Mug by Fictiontea in a Fairyloot box. Now I just want more! They are so pretty and the perfect size for tea.

9 Never a Quiet Year at Hogwarts poster by Anne Lambelet

I want to say I bought this for my daughter but secretly its just for me… It’s gorgeous. I literally can’t stop staring at it. I found this on Society6 and knew I had to have it. It’s perfect and hopefully it will inspire my little girl to dream of Hogwarts. :)

10 Evie Seo Art in any form

I really love Evie Seo’s work and I can’t help but buy loads of it. I unpacked a box recently and rediscovered this mug. I’m so gonna start using it again in photos.

I used to have a huge collection of bookmarks and then I had kids… my older girl loved to pull them out of my books and go play with them. Hahaha. I do love that mug also!

Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
