Top Ten Tuesday: Bookish Worlds We’d Never Want to Live In

pamstopten

Oops, we seem to have got our weeks mixed up! Oh well, here’s the post we missed last week, hope you enjoy a little deja vu…

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Bookish Worlds We’d Never Want to Live In.

1 The Greatcoats world

written by Sebastien de Castell

Not only is this a world in turmoil, basically if your not a Barron, you’re gonna have problems (Some Barrons have problems too I think) and considering I’m female it’s likely my life would be even worse. Why is it that these worlds are always destroying women?!

2 The Hunger Games world

written by Suzanne Collins

With my luck, I would be chosen and I would die in the first few seconds.
No thank you

3 The Lunar Chronicles world

written by Marissa Meyer

On first thought this world seems fantastic, but then when you factor in the plague and the abilities of those from Lunar it’s actually quite scary. I’m not sure what would be worse, being a plague victim, a victim of those from the moon or actually being one of the awful people from the moon…

4 The Mortal Instruments world

written by Cassandra Clare

Oh gosh, I’d be an illegal vampire snack I just know it. Or an accidental werewolf victim. Actually it doesn’t even seem that fun to be a Nephilim from what I’ve read!

5 The Forgetting world

Written by Sharon Cameron

Oh man, I have a horrid memory, but forgetting EVERYTHING every 12 years would be terrifying – especially if you haven’t written it down or if you loose your book!
