My thoughts:

I haven’t heard of either of these books but both sound pretty interesting! They’re also both pretty different for being in the same box. All of This is True is the featured read and it seems to by a contemporary mystery, The Boneless Mercies – the bonus ARC – is more of a Dystopian novel. Who wants to bet I’ll end up reading the ARC first? Not doing so well on the book box books to be honest, my shelf is too full!

The shower gel smells nice and apparently smells like the dodgy character in All of This is True, unfortunately it’s got SLS in it so I won’t be using it – I’ll have to donate it to a friend.
Bellatrix on a pencil tin?! How odd… It’s full up with sweets right now though so I can’t use it for anything till they’re all gone!
I like how the Queen of Heart’s hair is a heart! Very clever.

The pencil rolled over and I didn’t notice… but it says “Mistress of all evil” and has Maleficent’s horns on it and a green gem at the end. I like it when a writing implement is included with a notebook! You can start making notes right away. I’m yet to read And I Darken, I’m not sure I intended to – but the info card describes the inspiration of the notepad as a ‘brutal princess warrior’ and now I want to know more so maybe one day I’ll get to reading it!

I like receiving 2 books in a box! More likely to like one that way, which I feel bad about – not liking a box someone has spent time building a box around.
