Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Favorite Book Blogs/Bookish Websites
I used to be on Instagram all the time, then suddenly I started getting adverts every 5 posts and it was very distracting and I hated it, so I am more of a short burst visitor now.
These are the pages that stood out to me most when I went a-hunting for this post! So many pretty pages.
I like this page, it’s all twinkle-y, autumnal and somehow snuggly. How do they come up with these photograph compositions?!
This one has a similar colour scheme to the previous one, but this is a lot calmer. I love flat lay photos, but the house I live in does not lend itself to such a setup – mores the pity!
…are you noticing a theme here? Because I am! They’re all pretty busy with a similar colour palate. I find this fascinating because usually busy is not my friend. Maybe busy + books is comforting?
This one feels more colourful and lively in an exciting way.
This feed is more muted than the others, but just as appealing. Maybe it’s got something to do with the props too? Boy do I want a sword…
Surprise! This one is totally different but just as pretty. I like the colour co-ordination in these between the books as well as the props.
I follow so many on Instagram and I love them all so to make it fair these are the first 5 I came across as I scrolled through instagram.
I’ve always found Alexis’ photos to be adorable and interesting anyway but now that I have a little one I love seeing how much her children enjoy reading (as much as she does).
Annie is someone I started following after seeing her links in the Illumicrate Facebook Group. I really enjoy seeing what she’s been reading and her bullet journal is awesome.
Ok so not necessarily about books but definitely book related. BookBestiesUK is a book sleeve seller that I found recently but I just love all her quirky book related sleeves. How she finds these materials I have no idea but I love them! Look at that No Mourners No Funeral’s sleeve!!! I may have to make a sneaky purchase.
I love the colour scheme of this instagram account it’s simple but effective. I started following her after she was a rep for one of the book boxes I sometimes get.
I feel like I’ve been stalking Rosy forever. I used to frequent her blog when I had time to do that sort of thing but recently I have been keeping up with her on Instagram. She’s a lovely person and always chats with you if you contact her. (I promise I’m not a psycho).
