Top Ten Tuesday : Books On Our Fall 2018 TBR

pamstopten

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Books On Our Fall 2018 TBR

1 Deadly Sweet

by Lola Dodge

This is a Netgalley book that I’ve had a while and I felt it was totally an OCTOBER read. I’m looking forward to it.
Every year I plan what I’m going to read and I never do! I have this and the book below in mind, but I’ve just remembered I have another book I got years ago I planned to read one October AND I bought a copy of IT last book fair to read this October….So much choice.

2 A Curse so Dark and Lonely

by Brigid Kemmerer

Another netgalley book! Sounds a little bit Beauty and the Beast and certainly worth a place in October.

3 Next Throne of Glass OR Next All Souls

by Sarah J Maas OR Deborah Harkness

It might be a little too late to be trying to start Heir of Fire…I read book 2 over a year ago…I might need to recap, alternatively I read A Discovery of Witches rather recently so now is the time to read Shadow of Night BUT I’m not watching the show and the mixing of timelines might be bothersome….perhaps after the season has finished….

4 City of Lost Souls

by Cassandra Clare

It’s probably too long since I read the last one of this series too, but I think at this point I’ll just go for it. I’ve re-read the first three so many times I just can’t do it again.

5 The Grey Wolf Throne

by Cinda Williams Chima

I really need to keep going with this series pretty soon! I’m not sure why I’ve been pausing for so long recently because I’ve been enjoying it and I want to find out what happens at the end!

6 War Storm

by Victoria Aveyard

It’s time. I have loved and hated this series but I can’t seem to stay away from it. I feel it’s now time to finish this journey (mainly because the book was available at the library – finally).

7 Starry Eyes

by Jenn Bennett

I bought this back in April so I its about time I picked it up. I really need something lighthearted and fluffy to read, something that leaves me with a warm fuzzy feeling and I’m hoping this will deliver!

8 City of Ghosts

by V E Schwab

You can’t beat a ghost story in Autumn. And I know V E Schwab won’t disappoint me.

9 Sisters Red

by Jackson Pearce

I was re-organising my Goodreads Shelves (as you do… cos why wouldn’t you reorganise digital shelves just like an actual bookcase) and I realised that this book has sat unread on my digital and actual bookshelves for 6 years! 6 YEARS! So I’ve decided I need to read this book and as many of the other 6 year old books on my shelves as possible!

10 City of Bones

by Cassandra Clare

I still haven’t read this series and I really think I should especially as my Dad (of all people) has started reading them… Dad and I have one of those strange relationships where we have to try and find things to talk about or we feel very awkward around each other. Think of all the things we could discuss after reading this series!
