Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Of The Longest Books We’ve Ever Read

pamstopten

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Longest Books We’ve Ever Read

According to Goodreads, here’s my list!

a storm of swords a dance with dragons it dragonfly in amber Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix

A Storm of Swords – 1178

by George R.R. Martin

I sort of cheated and listened to this as an audio book, it meant I could ‘read’ it more regularly than if it had just been reading the actual book!

A Dance with Dragons – 1125

by George R.R. Martin

I listened to this one too! That totally isn’t a cop out – I spend ages stuck in traffic, it’s a fantastic use of time!

IT - 1116

By Stephen King

Currently reading this one, but I threw it in so the whole list wasn’t A Song of Ice and Fire because that was the way we were headed….

Dragonfly In Amber -976

by Diana Gabaldon

Guess what? I listened to this one too! I didn’t like this one nearly as much as the first however.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – 956

by JK Rowling

I actually read this one! And I read it a whole bunch of times! Sorted.
