Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Villains (favourite, best, worst, lovable, creepiest, most evil, etc.)
Paein
1 Black Jack Randall – Outlander
by Dianna Gabaldon
Oh gosh, he makes my skin crawl!!! I know his Arc so I’m happy at the outcome, but still *shudders*.
2 Scythe Goddard – Scythe
by Neil Shusterman
He should never have been made a scythe…He’s just horrific.
To be honest I can’t say much more about him without giving either book away, so we’ll leave it there.
3 Wickham – Pride and Prejudice
By Jane Austen
Such an unreasonable young man! Not agreeable at all. And yet he manages to do alright all things considered. Grr
4 Consul Scaeva, Cardinal Duomo, Justicus Remus – Nevernight
by Jay Kristoff
Honestly these people are just the worst I could fill the list with this character type.
I mean I’ve forgotten quite a bit about this specific set, but I know I hate them almost as much as Mia. (Maybe not quite that much)
5 Voldemort – Harry Potter
by J K Rowling
Ok, I get the feeling that Grindelwald (LOVE that Dumbledore is the only one who says his name right…!) will be worse – I mean, Ol’ Tom here was cursed to never know (or understand??) love, so he had that as an ‘excuse’.
But I don’t know Grindelwald yet and he’s not so much BOOK based….so, Voldemort!
