Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is a Thanksgiving/Thankful Freebie and we’ve chosen Bookish Things We’re Thankful For.

1 Audio books
The amount of time I spend in traffic was wasted time before I returned to audio books. It’s a good thing too because I think that most of my book count this year are audio ones! I get mine from audible with the two a month subscription. I believe there is another subscription site where you get unlimited books a month – but from what I gather, you don’t actually own those, you borrow them. With audible you’ve actually bought them which I prefer.
2 Pride and Prejudice read by Rosamund Pike
This sort of comes under the first one, but I’ve singled this one out specifically because her voice is so soothing that I return to this story that I love whenever I’m having a difficult time. I have no idea how many times I’ve listened to this book this year, I haven’t added them all to Goodreads – I am persuaded to say it’s more than 5…
Sometimes you just need a soothing voice and a familiar story.
3 T-Shirts
I love a good slogan T-shirt and bookish ones are some of my favourite. And I’ve just found a whole bunch of Luna Lovegood shirts and I need them all now.
4 Bookish Candles
They smell amazing! Unfortunately I never want to burn them…
5 Adaptions
Ok, so some times they’re horrific *coughprizonerofazkabancough* but other times they’re so good it’s almost worth the bad ones.
Almost.
