Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Cozy/Wintery Reads

pamstopten

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Cozy/Wintery Reads

1 Winter Warmers

a Point Romance Collection

This is the first book that came to mind when this title came up.
Published in 1995, I got this book in a library sale many years ago! I don’t remember what most of the stories are about – except one.
That one is the reason why I still own this book and it’s called Carrie’s Christmas Present by Hellen McCann and it’s just adorable.

2 The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe

by C S Lewis

Winter means snow! Or so I always hope. And a good portion of this book is set in a permanent winter. It’s also quite Christmassy

3 Dance with the Devil

by Sherrilyn Kenyon

This is one of my favourites from this series, if not my actual favourite of them all. Z is quite misunderstood and he lives in Alaska where it’s pretty snowy a good amount of time.

4 Snow like Ashes

by Sara Raasch

To be honest I couldnt’ think of any other snowy books and it’s right there in the title. It’s been so long since I read this book, I don’t remember what happened. I own all three now, so I really need to read them!

5 A Feast for Crows

by George RR Martin

Winter is Coming.
And this book is named for the Crows…in theory, so it’s the perfect one to feature!
