Top Ten Tuesday: Characters We’d Like To Switch Places With

pamstopten

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Characters We’d Like To Switch Places With.

Er, I don’t think I want to be in the place of any characters I read about. They don’t have very nice times!

1 Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice

by Jane Austen

She’s a little bit awkward which I have down and she falls in love with an adorable man, which is relationship goals, no? Also, he’s got a great house and she loves reading. Perfect!

2 Belle from Beauty and the Beast

She’s got access to a great library and she breaks a terrible curse, that’s pretty powerful!

3 Vivian Carter from Moxie

by Jennifer Mathieu

She’s pretty quiet at first but eventually she grows in power and accidentally starts a revolution.
I think I’d only ever start one by accident too, to be honest.

4 Ramandu’s Daughter from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

by CS Lewis

She marries Caspian!
Was she ever given a name? I only remember her described as Ramandu’s daughter in the dramatised audiobooks…
And Caspian was always a favourite of mine growing up!

5 Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter

by J K Rowling

Actually, I just want to BE her, not swap with her. I could never match her mystery.

Ramandu’s daughter is a wonderful choice! I don’t think her name was ever mentioned, or at least not that I recall.

    My Top Ten Tuesday post.
