Top Ten Tuesday: Books On Our Spring 2019 TBR

pamstopten

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This weeks topic is Top Ten Books On Our Spring 2019 TBR

1 A Curse So Dark and Lonely

by Brigid Kemmerer
Ahhh, this has been on my TBR for MONTHS now. I kept putting it off because I had other Netgalley books to read first. I have a physical copy now though, so I can bypass that list…

2 The Kingdom of Copper

by S.A. Chakraborty

I’m so excited to read this! I will need to re-read the first one though before I can though. I remember the description not giving the book enough credit. The story was far more epic and fantastic than it hinted at. I look forward to entering this world once more.

3 Mirage

by Somaiya Daud

I started reading this one ages ago – I didn’t get far enough to need to re-read what I did read, but since then I received a physical copy in a book box, so really I have no excuse to have not finished it!

4 The Binding

by Bridget Collins

I’ve just realised this whole list is Netgalley books.
This book sounds really intriguing.  Makes me think a little of The Forgetting. I look forward to finally getting to it.

5 The Confectioners Guild

by Claire Luana

Magical baking? Yes please!

sadie slayer paris for one All the Bright Places bitten

6 Sadie

by Courtney Summers

I’ve been meaning to read this one for a while. I’m a bit scared cos Courtney Summers always knows how to hit me in the feels. A friend wants to borrow it so I really want to read it before I hand it over.

7 Slayer

by Kiersten White

Who could resist a book based on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, not me that’s for sure. I hope it’s good! (May have to rewatch the box set now though)

8 Paris for One

by Jojo Moyes

I love Jojo Moyes and I always think of spring as the time to get geared but for holiday mode. I love a goofy romance while sitting in the sun. This should set me right up.

9 All the Bright Places

by Jennifer Niven

I want to read this one for the unread bookshelf project. Not sure if it will be my thing but I feel like if I don’t read it now I may as well get rid of it. We will see whether it ends up in the charity shop box or not.

10 Bitten

by Kelley Armstrong

Another unread bookshelf project book. Had it for ages, watched the series on Netflix. Really need to get to the book now.
