Reviews:

Any rants or raves?
Anything to boast or even just chat about?

Paein:
I was disappointed with my Owl Mage series ‘re-read’, I always thought I liked these books best! But, I think it was the potential I liked. All the best bits happened off the page, while what we actually got to deal with was long, seemingly irreverent details about things. This has saddened me and I now worry about re-reading the rest of the series.
Also, I’d forgotten who most of the people talked about were, as this is set at the end of a long timeline, but I didn’t factor that in as that was my own fault.
And the editing was really bad, pauses were left where they weren’t meant to be and there was no pause between scene changes. What?

I also want to rant about Amazons new plastic envelopes, that are terrible for the environment, way to go Amazon, introducing them as the world (kind of) goes into a plastic panic. Also, STOP SENDING ME BOOKS IN THEM!!! THEY GET DAMAGED!!!!!!!!!!

EXCITING NEWS!!! On the 30th of June Book Roast dropped the N.E.W.T.s reading list prompts! (see her MAGICAL READATHON video) I need to read a minimum of 12 books in August!! Ahhh!
But now to spend July planning my TBR….
