Top Ten Tuesday: Settings We’d Like to See More Of (Or At All)

pamstopten

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Settings We’d Like to See More Of (Or At All)

Paein

1 On the Moon

With castles and royalty and – yeah, Basically I want a sailor Moon type novel. Is that a thing? Can someone make it a thing?

2 Multiple Lands

A series set in multiple lands within a fictional world. Using Europe as an example, one set in France, one set in Germany etc etc

3 Alternate UK

Like the Bone Season and…what else?

4 Narnia

This is not because I had a crush on Caspian when I was younger. (Casting Ben Barnes in the films really didn’t help that go away at all…)

5 Emelan

This is where Tamora Pierce’s other series is set. C’mon Tammy, what happens next?!
(I know she’s been ill, I’m not nagging, I’m just impatient to see Briar again.)

Yes, it would be very cool to have more stories about Narnia.

    My TTT.

Gilded Cage by Vic James is the first of a YA fantasy trilogy set in an alternative Britain that I would certainly recommend!

I’m with you on the Ben Barnes thing…
