Top Ten Tuesday: Books That Give Off Autumn Vibes

pamstopten

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018.
It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This weeks topic is Top Ten Books That Give Off Autumn Vibes

1 Harry Potter

By J K Rowling

Any one, really. Because – in the first few at least – things don’t really begin until the start of the AUTUMN term at Hogwarts. Haha, see what I did there?

2 City of Lost Souls

By Cassandra Clare

Maybe it’s because I still need to read it, but it’s a lovely autumn leaf colour.

3 Scythe

by Neal Shusterman

Ah, yeah no. I just wanted an excuse to mention this because the third and final book turned up in the post yesterday! I’m so excited! I can’t wait to listen to the audio books (again!).
But in my defence, they are very autumn coloured.

4 The Shadow Queen

by C J Redwine

The spine is red, ok? And it stood out on my bookshelves. Also, there’s an apple and Autumn is when apples are ripening.

5 Ruin and Rising

by Leigh Bardugo

I don’t need to explain this. Look at that cover!

Yes! All of these are fantastic picks for autumn. Scythe is on my TBR and I really hope to get to it soon. Especially now, knowing that it gives off autumn vibes!
