Five years ago there was an accident that killed Rachels best friend Jimmy and left her with scars and headaches. She’s not been back home since, but she’s taken time out of her dead end job and returned now to see her friend wed. Her other friends are there, including her ex-boyfriend Matt now going out with another friend, but there’s one person missing and she cant stand the hole in their group.

Five years ago there was a close call. Now working in London for a magazine and feeling she needs to earn her job Rachel stayed late to finish an article then caught the train instead of driving down with her fiancé Matt. Mugged and knocked unconscious after she gets off the train, the policeman who comes to talk to her is none other than Jimmy!! But he died five years ago, didn’t he?

Unfortunately I’ve waited too long to do this review and all of the major points I intended to raise have left my mind, but I will try my best. I was very annoyed and frustrated with the start to this book. I love stories where one moment can change a lifetime. I’m not, however, overly fond of love triangles and upon finding this one, I put the book down for some while before I managed to convince myself to pick it up again which is why I marked it down on stars.

I enjoyed how the book was written, without giving two much away. the dual story lines don’t remain separate for long so you don’t need to worry about keeping track of what happens when. Intrigued yet? you should be!
