1 A Crown For Cold Silver
by Alex Marshall

This one is added to my to-be-read list. I found it on goodreads and it just sounds so interesting. Not only does it involve a strong female lead, but she’s done her adventuring and is living in peace. Only the world just wont let her be quite yet and she’s off to give it a good talking to. I think it will be a nice change from all the youngsters going off on their first adventures, not that I don’t enjoy them, but it’s nice to get a glimpse of their futures sometimes.

2 Tyrants Throne
by Sebastien de Castell

On my to-be-read list only because it’s not available to pre-order yet! Otherwise it’d be on my own-to-read shelf! haha. There’s no cover yet and no description and I’ve only just read book 1, but I can’t wait to get my hands on any book relating to this world. These are all going to be favourites! So obviously book 3 had to be added to my to-read lists somewhere. I’m now reading book 2 and I keep thinking something’s about to happen I wont like or wont be able to handle, but it never does.

3 Marked/Claimed
by Sarah Fine

To-be-read list. Ms4Tune has read these and recommended them to me, so I’ve added them to my list! Post apocalyptic Greek Ferrymen?! sounds exciting and different to me!

4 Upon a Time
by February Grace

Own-to-read! This is one that I’ve been granted access to via Netgalley. I can’t wait to read it but there’s a queue! It just sounds so different. I’m not sure if it’s about a black smith, or the heir to the throne, or if they’re the same person but I hope to find out soon.

5 From A Distant Star
by Karen McQuestion

Own-to-read. I’ve been asked to review this one and it’s next on my list! The blurb sort of reminds me of superman meets YA:

Seventeen-year-old Emma was the only one who hadn’t given up on her boyfriend, Lucas. Everyone else—his family, his friends, his doctors—was convinced that any moment could be his last. So when Lucas miraculously returns from the brink of death, Emma thinks her prayers have been answered. As the surprised town rejoices, Emma begins to question whether Lucas is the same boy she’s always known. When she finds an unidentifiable object on his family’s farm—and government agents come to claim it—she begins to suspect that nothing is what it seems. Emma’s out-of-this-world discovery may be the key to setting things right, but only if she and Lucas can evade the agents who are after what they have. With all her hopes and dreams on the line, Emma sets out to save the boy she loves. And with a little help from a distant star, she might just have a chance at making those dreams come true.

No Where But Here  The Rest of Us Just Live Here  Dissonance  The Stars Never Rise  Outlander

6 Nowhere But Here
by Katie McGarry

Added to my To-Be-Read list because I received a copy to review from Netgalley. I really enjoyed Katie McGarry’s Pushing the Limits and can’t wait to see what she has to offer in this new Teen series. It’s a story of a girl who’s biological father is a dangerous man, she’s had very little to do with him but a family death causes her to return to her families origins where she may find that there are answers to secrets she never had any idea about. She also meets a rather appealing man.

7 The Rest of Us Just Live Here
by Patrick Ness

I saw this one pop up on Goodreads. I have no idea what to expect from this book but there is something compelling about its blurb so I will just put that here…

What if you weren’t the Chosen One?

What if you’re not the one who’s so often the hero in YA fiction; who’s supposed to fight the zombies, or the soul-eating ghosts, or whatever this new thing is, with the blue lights and the death? What if you were like Mikey? Who just wants to graduate and go to prom and maybe finally work up the courage to ask Henna out before someone goes and blows up the high school. Again. Because sometimes there are problems bigger than this week’s end of the world and sometimes you just have to find the extraordinary in your ordinary life. Even if your best friend might just be the God of mountain lions…

8 Dissonance
by Erica O’Rourke

Dissonance was a Goodreads Recommendation. I’m constantly thinking about the consequences of every action (I’m a little paranoid about making the wrong choices in life) so this book sounded really interesting as its all about the idea that every decision made makes a different fork in reality, and all these realities run parallel to each other. Del, the main character can move between these realities. I wonder whether you’d choose to stay in a different/better reality?

9 The Stars Never Rise
by Rachel Vincent

Another Netgalley book. I’ve not had a chance to read anything by Rachel Vincent yet. But I hope that The Stars Never Rise will be the perfect introduction to her work. It promises Soul-consuming demons and exorcisms sooo I’m in!

10 Outlander
by Diana Gabaldon

After accidentally signing up to Amazon Prime I thought I would take advantage of free viewing. Sooo I thought I’d take a look at Outlander… and now I’m addicted! Sooo I have added the book to my To-Be-Read pile. Give me more of Scotland and that hunky kilted man called Jamie!
