You’ve probably all heard by now that one of the funniest and most amazing British Author’s Sir Terry Pratchett passed away yesterday at 66 years old. He had suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease for a long time and fought it bravely and loudly, bringing a lot of notice and funding, for the disease and the fight against it.

In his lifetime he wrote over 70 books that fill the Fantasy/Science Fiction section. His most famous being his Discworld Novels.

His work is full of satirical humour and if you haven’t had a chance yet to pick up one of his works, I would highly recommend Mort from his Discworld Series. Alternatively if your a stickler for following a series in order why not start at the beginning with The Colour of Magic.

The world will be a sad place without him, but he will live on in his books.
