Pinterest idea, this one. Though I’ve seen it many other places too.

For this you’ll need a glue gun and lots of glue sticks, lots and lots of buttons, you can decide if you want them to be the same colour or if you want it to be rainbow, a canvas.

Of course. you could get fancy and deccorate the canvas first. Paint it, string lace across it etc.

The way I do it. is I lay the buttons out until I’m happy then I carefully lift them one at a time and I glue them down. I find this way the easiest. I’ve previously attempted drawing the letter on but I find it very hard to cover the outline ( or line if it was only a sketch not a full outline.) It’s advisable not to do it on the floor is you’ll likely be attacked by cats trying to play. They don’t understand button art is serious stuff.

You don’t even have to stick to letters, you can make hearts and butterflies. Flowers, tree blossom. ANYthing!
(I forgot to take photographs on the ones I made. I gave them away as soon as they were complete, as a gift! I chose letters and I didn’t make the background fancy, they were my first button craft.)
