the invasion of the tearling a sorceress of his own blood red road the last princess the dark unwinding

1 The Invasion of The Tearling

by Erika Johansen

So excited for this one, it’s due out this summer and I’ll be recapping the first and reading the second as soon as I possibly can.

2 A Sorceress of His Own

by Dianne Duvall

Amazon recommended this to me, it sounded interesting so I pre-ordered it. A scary man and a woman pretending to be an old wise woman? Clearly this will be an adult story, but it sounds thoroughly fascinating to me.

3 Blood Red Road

by Moira Young

This is one of my “read it or loose it” books and this summer is when I hope to  really dig into them. I have 99 left at the moment but there are so many other books I want to read too. I’ve prioritised them, so that I can read the ones I’ll possibly like more first and that way, the ones I don’t think I’ll like will be the ones I loose, if it comes to it. This one I’ve had since it came out in 2012 and I’ve collected the other two. I don’t want to loose these ones so I’ll hopefully get to them soon.

4 The Last Princess

by Galaxy Craze

I think I’ve had this one since it came out in 2012 too and it’s also on the read it or loose it list, near the top. So hope fully I’ll love it! Dystopian story about the British monarchy, sounds like a must read.

5 The Dark Unwinding

by Sharon Cameron

Another 2012/read it or loose it book. This one seems at least semi Steampunk and I cant wait to read it either! The problem with having so many #1 books on my list is that I’ll want to then read the rest of the series. Luckily this one only has one other book after it! But this could double my read it or loose it list…

Emmy and Oliver city Hundred pieces Magician Lola

6 Emmy and Oliver

by Robin Benway

There’s something about Summer that makes me reach for a romance book. I just love sitting in the sun reading something cute and adorable. I got Emmy and Oliver from Netgalley and can’t wait to get stuck in. A friendship romance? Yes please.

7 City of Bones

by Cassandra Clare

This may surprise some of you but I haven’t read any of Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instrument series but it’s definitely on my list to read this year. I have all the books and I hope to read them all one after another!

8 A Hundred Pieces of Me

by Lucy Dillon

I loved Lucy Dillon’s Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts and this looks to be another heart breaker. I see myself crying when I read this, but I do love a good sob every now and then.

9 Magician

by Raymond E Feist

I have chosen this as my Book Written by an Author With You Same Initials for our 2015 Reading Challenge. (Me being RF now). At 800 pages I’m a little daunted but my Dad really loved it so fingers crossed so will I!

10 Lola and the Boy Next Door

by Stephanie Perkins

I read Anna and the French Kiss a few years ago and loved it so much. I don’t know why I didn’t read this one straight after but I didn’t. I feel It’s definitely time to read the next book in the series now and hopefully Isla and the Happily Ever After too.

Lola is so so adorable. I think it’s my favourite of the three, to be honest…SO MUCH LOLA AND CRICKET LOVE. And I love City of Bones too! That’s such a huge series but I’m so addicted these days. xD I’ve started the second series now which is sooo good too! Cassandra Clare is a wizard good writer.

I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed City of Bones enough to read the next series because i’m a little daunted about starting a massive series! So excited about Lola though :) and OMG your list is friggin Awesome Cait!!! (Will comment on you page lol)

The Invasion of the Tearling is on my list too, I cannot wait to read it, the first book was so fantastic! Sadly Lola and I did not get on nearly as well as Anna and I, which was a shame. Looking forward to hearing what you think of them though!

I can’t wait to read it! I’m just so excited. Ms4Tune was lucky enough to get it from netgalley and she’s thrown everything over to read it right now and I’m just soooo jealous! haha.
I like your list! I didn’t think about re-reads. But then I’m saving those for next year. Amy and Rogers epic detour should be on my read it or lose it list so maybe I’ll read that one sooner rather than later ( :
