Winter Ice like fire spinning Starlight mechanica a thousand nights

1 Winter

by Marissa Meyer

Expected publication: 10th November 2015

It feels like the whole world is waiting for this book! I’m looking forward to reading the series again and ending with the new one, can’t wait.

2 Ice Like Fire

by Sara Raasch

Expected publication:13th October 13th 2015

I really enjoyed the first book in this series and I cant wait to get my hands on the second, I’m really interested in seeing where this one is going as it has so much potential.

3 Spinning Starlight

by R.C. Lewis

Expected publication: 6th October 2015

This is by the same author as Stitching Snow and despite the similar style covers, it’s been said that it is NOT a companion in any way, though it is another fairytale retelling, in space, of course.

Mechanica

 by Betsy Cornwell

Expected publication: 4th August 2015

Cinderella retelling that has her as an inventor. It seems the whole thing is set in a more Tech based world, but not like Cinder from the Lunar Chronicles. I cant wait!

5 A Thousand Nights

by E.K. Johnston
Expected publication: 6th October 2015
.
I found this one on NetGalley and it sounds like it should be a fairytale and if it is it’s not one I’ve heard before. It might even be based on Beauty and the Beast and that’s just awfully exciting!

dreams and rust sacred minnow six of crows soundless never never shrum

I have all of these on pre-order because I predict they are going to be THAT GOOD!

6 Of Dreams and Rust

by Sarah Fine

Released: 4th August 2015

I loved the first book in this series, Of Metal and Wishes, so much! At the time I had no idea that Sarah Fine was even thinking of writing a sequel but I’m so glad she has. I hope its as good as I want it to be!

7 The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly

by Stephanie Oakes

Released: 9th of June (TODAY – but it hasn’t arrived yet)

This debut novel caught my eye back in December of 2014 and now that reviews are starting to come through (all very positive) I can’t wait to get my copy in the post.

8 Six of Crows

by Leigh Bardugo

Released: 29th September 2015

I haven’t actually read any of Leigh Bardugo’s other books but I know quite a few people have really enjoyed them. This series promises a Game of Thrones sort of storyline, but with a YA stamp it should be a little more pallet able for wimps like me (graphic writing wise and length wise).

9 Soundless

by Richelle Mead

Released: 10th of November 2015

I must admit to having seen the cover and the Authors name and declaring that’s all I need to know before hitting the 1-click button.
Anyway, after a little bit of research it sounds amazing too. So can’t wait for this!

10 Never Never

by Brianna Shrum

Released: 22nd September 2015

Possibly the one I’m most excited about, mainly because I only discovered it recently but it sounds amazing! The idea of a Peter Pan from Hook’s point of view? Count me in!

Ice and Fire made my list this week too! I still haven’t read the Lunar Chronicles (still sat on my bookshelf!) but I know once I do I will probably also be desperate for Winter to be released! I can’t believe I forgot to put Mechanica on my list! I love retellings and I’m also mega excited for this one! Great list! Happy Reading :)

If you’re excited for Mechanica, then I think you’ll love the Lunar Chronicles. At this point I’d recommend waiting for Winter to be out now though!!

Winter is definitely my most awaited release for the rest of 2015! A Thousand Nights sounds quite good but I think I’ll decide if I want to read it or not after the reviews start to come. Meanwhile The Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly is definitely a book that I’m dying to read even if everyone hates it, and from what I saw they don’t. Soundless made my list too! I love Richelle Mead to pieces but I’d read this book even if someone I hate had written it. It sounds so awesome.
    Lovely lists. :)

A Thousand Nights I think is based on One Thousand and One Nights (also known as: Arabian Nights). Personally, I love that fairy tale and am very excited for a retelling of it. Also, Winter. Seriously, it would be easier to make a list of people that aren’t excited for it than ones that are, I think. Of course, I’m so excited to see how everything end up too! Even though Mechanica didn’t make my list, it sounds so awesome. And Spinning Starlight too – though I’ve promised myself that I’ll read Stitching Snow first. I had no idea that’s what Never Never was about! Now I’ve got to go look into it.

Can I just go ahead and say yes to all of these?! Winter and Ice Like Fire made my list too. A Thousand Nights I can’t wait for (I’m crossing my fingers for an ARC) and Never Never sounds fantastic! I love the idea of hearing Hook’s story. Great list :D

These all look fantastic. I can’t wait for the next few months with so many incredible books coming out! Mechanica has been on my radar for a little while now and I’m really excited about it. I hadn’t heard about Never Never, but that sounds like it’s going to be pretty awesome too – definitely going on the to read pile!

I can’t wait to read Winter. I’m so excited about that book! :-) I hope you enjoy these books when they release!

  7. Emma

I can’t wait for A Thousand Nights and Six of Crows either- they both sound awesome!! I still need to read the Lunar Chronicles >.< I hope you enjoy all of these :-) Here's my TTT if you would like to check it out! :-) Have a great day!

Ohhhh NEVER *flails* I keep forgetting that book exists but omg I want it so bad. Peter Pan is like THE best fairy tale in the world (imho) and I don’t think it gets retold enough. xD And I’m super excited for Ice Like Fire too! I wasn’t sure I’d like Snow Like Ashes, but I adored it. <3 SO KEEN FOR THE SEQUEL. Thanks for stopping by @ Paper Fury!
