I’ve named The Dragon because his love of books has caused those in the villages around him to have a high book count.

This book broke my heart, but I can’t wait to read it again next year and to get on to the brother book, Styxx. I chose this book and this character because I remember a situation where she basically said “I’ve read a book for that.”. Unfortunately I can’t dig out my book and hunt it down as our roof is STILL being done, so you’ll have to settle for the only one I could find containing a book and go read it yourselves:

“Harry — I think I’ve just understood something! I’ve got to go to the library!”

“What does she understand?” said Harry distractedly, still looking around, trying to tell where the voice had come from.
“Loads more than I do,” said Ron, shaking his head.
“But why’s she got to go to the library?”
“Because that’s what Hermione does,” said Ron, shrugging. “When in doubt, go to the library.”

6 Katy from Obsidian

I really enjoyed Obsidian. It was a bit cheesy in places but it reminded me of Roswell. Katy was a fellow blogger…

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Shatter Me, I found the writing a little too flowery. But Juliette was obviously a bookworm so she makes this list.

I seem to mention this book every week now. But I did love it and as Echo lived in a Library it’s no surprise that she loves a book or two!

9 Jo March from Little Women/ Jo’s Boys

I’ve only actually read Little Women but Jo March was one of the first bookworms that I fell in love with.

10 Matilda Wormwood from Matilda

I felt I couldn’t leave Matilda out as she really was the first book nerd I fell in love with!
