1 Holly Black

I haven’t read her series, just her stand alone books. After The Coldest Girl in Coldtown I auto bought The Darkest Part of the Forest which I also loved and if the next one sounds good I’ll be auto-buying that too!

2 Maria Snyder

I’ve read all of her books so far , excluding the second half of the third Healer book and the latest Study book. I peeked at the end of the Healer book and I didn’t think I’d like it so I stopped and I haven’t read the latest because I’m waiting for the next two, duh! (Also also-buys)

3 Marissa Meyer

If I haven’t read it I own it or I’ve pre-ordered it! And I want to read the untitled ones she has on her goodreads too. Seriously, if you haven’t read her Lunar Chronicles yet, you need to! I can’t wait for Winter. Her books are cyber-retellings of fairytales. It’s so different and at the same time the heart of the story is still there.

Rosamund Hodge

She’s new on the scene, after reading her first book I pre-ordered the novella and the book to follow. Another form of fairytale retelling, these are also different from the norm however, almost darker but not awful. I don’t know what’s coming next but I’ll be pre-ordering that one too.

5 Sabastian De Castell

I got one of his books through Netgalley and it was book 2., so I bought book 1 and they were spectacular. As soon as book 3 is pre-orderable, it shall be mine!

6 Jojo Moyes

I have yet to find a book by Jojo Moyes that I don’t like. When ever I want a break from Fantasy novels I can usually find a new Jojo Moyes book to read. I own quite a few that I still haven’t read.

7 Trudi Canavan

Trudi Canavan’s Black Magician’s Series was part of the reason I returned to reading. For about 5 years I didn’t touch a book. But one day my dad handed these to me and said, “Try these, you’ll like them,” and I haven’t had an empty hand since.

8 Sarah Fine

I discovered Sarah Fine last year and have been slowly working my way through all of her work. I loved her take on The Phantom of the Opera, and I really enjoyed her latest adult series Servants of Fate. (Currently waiting on the release of Fated Book #3).

9 Lucy Dillon

I absolutely adored her sense of humour in Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts. She’s another contemporary romance author that I love to read when I’ve overloaded on Fantasy novels.

10 Sarah J Maas

This is a guilty addition to my list because, while I’ve Auto-bought every single one of her books (to-date), I have yet to actually read them! I’ve read three of the novellas for throne of glass but that’s it. I really need to rectify this and soon!

So many fantastic authors! (excellent taste in books, full marks :P ) And so many of my favourite authors, although we only over lap on a few auto buy authors. I found it really hard cutting it down to ten this week!

Aww Tamora Pierce! I forgot about her! How could I??!
And thank you! I know what you mean, I chose to not include authors that I auto buy series continuations for, otherwise my list would be too long.
      Great list!

Hi Lauren, Aww thank you for your nomination! We will try and respond soon! I think Marissa Meyer has made it onto a lot of lists this week. She definitely deserves it.
