So we’re back from the book fair and this is what we’ve scored for ourselves!

Here’s the collection! With some lovely plants. We didn’t buy them though

Not a large amount for me today, but some pretty good ones! I was trying to buy ones I knew I’d read

Four and Twenty Blackbirds by Mercedes Lackey

Which I’ve discovered is actually book 4 so that’s fun.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Ms4Tune found this one for me, but I’ve ordered it in a pretty hardback having seen hers. so we thought we’d buy it for someone, but it’s an ARC and we got excited so we might keep it and just lend this copy to everyone instead of our pretty hardbacks, But we might just give it to our friend.

A Highland Christmas by M.C.Beaton

This sounds like it should be hilariously good fun. I can’t wait!

The Subtle Knife by Philip Pullman

I’ve read this series and I have a copy of them all somewhere, but I just love these covers they’re beautiful.

Master of Shadows by Neil Oliver

I’ve seen him on tv and the book sounded good so it’s now mine! This was another ARC

In a dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware

The tag line got me. “someone’s getting married. Someone’s getting murdered.” Also an ARC with a pretty cover

Fool’s Assassin by Robin Hobb

This is a hardback that’s been signed by the author! I’m yet to read Robin Hobb and this is an assassin book, win all round!

Personal Demon, Haunted and Stolen by Kelley Armstrong

This means I have 1-5 (and 8) of this series. I’m hoping to read this series next year. I’ve heard great things.

Night Watch, Going Postal, Making Money and I Shall Wear Midnight by Terry Pratchett

I’ve read the first 6 books of Discworld so I know I love this series. I always pick up the ones I need when I see them as I want a full set. They don’t need to match :)

The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, The Titans Curse and The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

Please don’t judge me harshly but I have yet to read anything by Rick Riordan, and when I saw the first 4 for 50p each I thought it’s definitely a sign that I should rectify this!

The Crimson Petal and the White by Michel Faber

I’ve never seen the mini series of this but it intrigued me. It’s sooo heavy though! It’s deceptive cos the pages are bible thin to make it look like a small book! It’s over 800 pages.

Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen

I love the cover of this and I’ve heard lovely things about Sarah Addison Allen’s writing. So I can’t wait to see for myself.

Alter of Bones by Philip Carter

No idea what-so-ever about this one but it looks and sounds good. For a £1, I can’t complain.

The Night Watch by Sarah Waters

I liked the sound of this one and saw that this had been nominated for quite a few awards so thought I’d give it a try.

The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith

I haven’t actually read the first one but this was a hardback, brand new copy for a pound so I thought I’d nab it.

Endgame The Calling by James Frey, Nils Johnson-Shelton

So excited about this one. It’s a beautiful new hardback and many of my friends on goodreads have praised this so fingers-crossed I’ll love it too.
