Malala Into the woods shadowshaper

I Am Malala
by Malala Yousafzai and Christina Lamb

I wanted to participate in the 2016 Popsugar Challenge and thought I’d do some research into some of the more trickier topics for me. One of these was 16. A Political Memoir. The thought of reading something by a stuffy past MP or Politician made my eyes roll but after some hunting through quite a few websites and goodreads lists I found this one. I will admit now, to not actually knowing anything about Malala, but the tag line alone makes me want to know more about her. She sounds incredible and brave and so much more interesting that Boris Johnson’s view on Churchill or Hilary Clinton’s hopes and dreams.

Through the Woods
by Emily Carroll

Another one for my 2016 Popsugar Challenge. Number 22. A Graphic Novel. I read my first ever graphic novel last year because of the 2015 challenge list, so when I saw it on this years list I went back to the goodreads page for Nimona, (the one I’d read) and looked at the readers also enjoyed section and found this. Sounds awesome, I love fairy-tales, so this seems right up my street. Fingers-crossed.

Shadowshaper
