Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish that other bloggers are welcome to join in, to create Top Ten lists on varying topics. This week it’s Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR

1 The Girl of Fire and Thorns Trilogy
by Rae Carson
I’ve read the first in this series and I rather enjoyed it and I’ve had the rest of them for a while now too. This is one of the series I’d hoped to get around to reading sometime this year, so why not now?! I’ll have to re-read the first one, but that’s alright! I’m looking forward to reading this one and I’ve realised, I have a lot of desert based books on my lists this year. Not bad for someone who dislikes sand…
2 The Wrath and the Dawn Duology
by Renée Ahdieh
The second one is coming out soon! I’ve pre-ordered it already, I hear the first is a terrible cliffy and I hate those. I received the first from Ms4Tune for my birthday last year and intended to read it right away, but then I heard the rumours. It’s a duology, but there seems to be a collection of Novella’s too.
3 Once Upon A Dream
by Liz Braswell
I was invited to read this one as it’s #2 in the Twisted Tales series and I read the first, A Whole New World some time last year. I didn’t want to read it too soon and not be able to talk about it, so the time is now! Well, not RIGHT NOW, but in the next few weeks I’ll be reading this, it’s a twisted Sleeping Beauty story and I’m pretty excited. When I was younger I was convinced I couldn’t like the same Disney Princess as everyone else (apparently I’ve always been adverse to ‘jumping on the bandwagon’) – Belle – so my favourite was Aurora. I have a soft spot for her still and I can’t wait to read her adventures in this book. The next one looks to be about Beauty and the Beast too!!
4 The Glittering Court sample
by Richelle Mead
Having enjoyed her Vampire Academy series, I thought I’d read something else by this author. It sounds a little ‘my fair lady’ mixed with the crossing to America. I’m interested how it all works together.
5 Skinshaper
by Mark Gelineau, Joe King
Aww yay! Soon it will be my turn to read this one! I can’t wait, I’m loving these series by these guys! If you’ve been about on our blog before, you’ll have heard of these guys. If not, here’s a break down. There are 4 series of novellas about one group of friends. They’re split off into different adventure types – high fantasy/Horror fantasy/Mystery fantasy/YA fantasy – but they’re all in the same world and they might just link up sometime down the line!

6 November 9
by Colleen Hoover
I got this out of the library recently. And I’m actually reading it right now! I’ve got so many Colleen Hoover books on my wishlist but I don’t think I’ve ever read any of her work. I liked the sound of November 9 and thought if I actually had a copy to hand perhaps I may finally get round to reading one of her books! So far its cute.
7 The List
by Siobhan Vivian
A book from Netgalley which I’m looking forward to reading. I’m not sure I’m going to get to read this one till nearer summer now as I know Paein has it to read as well and we don’t want our reviews to be on top of each other. Anyway this is another contemporary book, I seem to be reading a lot of these lately.
8 The Maze Runner Series
by James Dashner
I’ve read the first book but I need to read the rest of this series! I’m hoping to get stuck into this series soon.
9 Wild
Cheryl Strayed
Another library book I acquired recently. I got this one and The Twelve Tribes of Hattie out last week as possible choices for the Oprah Book Club book for My Popsugar Challenge.
10 Sacred Lies of Minnow Bly
by Stephanie Oakes
I’ve had this for a while but for some reason I still haven’t read it. I may read this as the fairytale Retelling book of the Popsugar Challenge. Although I also have A Stolen Kiss to read so which ever I read first!
Hope you enjoy the rest of the Maze Runner series!

Ooh I keep meaning to read the Fire and Thorns series but haven’t got around to it. I hope you enjoy these books.
Hi Chrissi, I’ve read them now and I can say they were fantastic! Enjoyed every minute of them and I can’t wait to read them again.
