It’s time for Musing Mondays, a meme from Books and a Beat!
(Please note it has moved from A Daily Rhythm)
Musing Mondays is a weekly meme that asks you to choose one of the following prompts to answer and then supplies a random question:
- I’m currently reading…
- Up next I think I’ll read…
- I bought the following book(s) in the past week…
- I’m super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish-news)…
- I’m really upset by (book/author/bookish-news)…
- I can’t wait to get a copy of…
- I wish I could read ___, but…
- I blogged about ____ this past week…
I can’t wait to get a copy of…
Divined by Emily Wibberley (Book 3 of The Last Oracle Series).
Ok so I’ve not actually read book two yet, (Forsworn) but I enjoyed Sacrificed a lot!
I can’t wait to get back into and finish this trilogy. I have high expectations and just look at how gorgeous the covers are!
THIS WEEK’S RANDOM QUESTION: What is your favourite “comfort” read?
I don’t tend to re-read books, mainly because there are just so many more that I need to read but, if I wanted to read something that I was ‘comfortably’ confident will entertain me and give me a little light relief, I would have to say I tend to grab one of Sir Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels! Whenever I’ve had a really bad book reading slump I’ve picked up the next book in this series and BINGO problem solved. I have laughed my way through 6 of these so far and I’ve loved all of them. I’m reading them in order but you can choose to read only the books based on a specific character and it would still make sense. What’s great is I still have another 30-something to go, so that should see me through my life time.
My favourite so far? Mort although I also loved Wyrd Sisters which had a witty take on Macbeth
How about you???
Not my genre, but love the cover art. The first book’s cover art is my favorite. Hope you enjoy the last book.

Thanks! I hope I do too! I’ll be so disappointed if it goes a rye.
I haven’t yet read Terry Pratchett, but the titles and covers are tempting me…BTW, love the rag dolls in your sidebar…and your logo, too.
Here is MY MUSING MONDAYS POST
Oh you should! Everyone should at least try a Terry Pratchett. I would definitely recommend reading Mort (the first of Death’s storyline) first. It’s so clever and humorous. The Colour of Magic (Rincewind’s story) is good but is a bit slow for my liking.
Those covers really are great!!
Tehehe I just had to share the set for that reason, and that reason alone
