Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish that other bloggers are welcome to join in, to create Top Ten lists on varying topics. This week it’s A Summer Reads Freebie and we’ve chosen Ten Book We Want To Read This Summer.
Paein
1 Empress of a Thousand Skies
by Rhoda Belleza
This is a book I got in a book box and I’m actually really looking forward to it. It’s going to have to be read in June though – this reading challenge is still quite fun but I’m beginning to feel the restrictions…Well behind of ARCs because I’m struggling to fit them in…But this will be a JUNE book I hope.
2 Throne of Glass
by Sarah J. Maas
This will be a re-read. This, aside from the original novellas, is the only book from this series I’ve read. I’ve been building up the collection though and I thought that this September the last book would be published and I’ve set my sights on reading the series this summer to catch up. Turns out there’s another book next year, but I’m still going to be reading these guys in July.
3 Caraval
by Stephanie Garber
Another exciting book box book! The UK edition has a black and white spine so I may sneak this into the July books. Otherwise I have until November to wait to capitalise on the black. Hopefully July will be a profitable reading month
4 Cast in Courtlight
by Michelle Sagara
Ok, this is a book 2, but I’m been wanting to re-read this series for a while now – I’m so behind. The summer seems the perfect time and I’m intending to get this one into the August books and hit two birds with one stone!
5 Oathbreakers Shadow
by Amy McCulloch
Another brown book, this one has interested me since I got it and might be the reason I chose brown for August, but who can say?
…
Oh yes try and sneak in Caraval. It was an interesting read. Curious to see what you will think of it.
Thank you! July may have to over run as I have far moer white books than brown (august) but that’s no issue! Otherwise, I’m pretty sure November will be here in a jiffy…
I hope you enjoy the Throne of Glass books and Caraval as much as I did.

I hope so too. I have a vague fear about ToG due to love triangles…so that’s why I keep putting it off…
The love triangle isn’t too bad, there’s a lot more that happens than just that
I’ve been told that about her other series too…
