Fairyloot is a monthly UK based book subscription box. Each box contains A newly released book and between 3 and 6 bookish things! Each month has a different theme.
In this box there was:
1.To The Stars Ceramic mug by Risa Rodil
2. Little Dreamer Tote Bag by Miss Phi
3. Gemstone Notebook from Portico
4. Reverie Candle by Meraki Candles
5. Dream Jar Pin by House of Wonderland
6. Follow your Dreams Magnet by Fairyloot
7. Given to the Sea by Mindy McGinnis
Bonus items: Spindles Fire postcard and Hunted Postcard
You already know my favourite item is going to be the candle, right? Not only is it a candle, it’s a Meraki Candle!
I haven’t opened the notebook – it’s aquamarine and for the month of March which is not my month, but I know someone born then and I intend to see if they want it. It seems quite a pretty book and I know it was luck of the draw but it would have been so exciting to have received a July one. Extra work there though.
The pin is adorable – I have no idea what to do with pins to be honest, but I saw a picture where a girl with long hair wore them in her braid, so that’s now hair goals! The magnet, pin, candle and notebook seem to be on a totally different colour scheme to the bag, cup and book, it’s odd but not bad – just something I seem to have emphasised with my photo!
The cup’s quote – I believe – is from the Court of Thorns and Roses series. I’ve only read the first book in this series and I really need to catch up. Though I’m horrifically confused about what’s going on because it’s impossible to avoid all spoilers…
The bag too is from a series I’m yet to read, though I do have book 1! It feels like this is happening more and more now, I feel so behind in the book world! I love getting totes in boxes! Not only am I now set for any shopping trip I feel like going on, I’ve also got plenty for my crochet projects – multiple and various. Too multiple….I need to finish a few off that have been sitting a while…(sorry Steph)
Finally, the book. I’ve been toying with adding this to my might-want-to-read list for a while! But now it can go straight onto TBR! This is one where I’ll definitely wait for book 2 to be out before I read it. It sounds like it has much in common with other books of a similar storyline, but at the same time there’s a little something in the blurb that makes me think that there’s a lot more going on, that it could be far more complex than it presents itself to be and I’m hoping for option two please.
What do you think of this months box?
