This is ridiculous, is it November yet?! We don’t even have cover art!!!!

“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly event originally hosted on Breaking The Spine.

Here is the stunning conclusion to the national bestselling Lunar Chronicles, inspired by Snow White.
When Princess Winter was thirteen, the rumour around the Lunar court was that her glamour would soon be even more breathtaking than that of her stepmother, Queen Levana. In a fit of jealousy, Levana disfigured Winter. Four years later, Winter has sworn off the use of her glamour altogether. Despite her scars, Winter’s natural beauty, her grace, and her gentleness are winning admiration from the Lunar people that no amount of mind-control could achieve.
Winter despises her stepmother, but has never dreamed of standing up to her. That is, until she realizes that she may be the only one with the power to confront the queen.
Can Cinder, Prince Kai, Scarlet, Wolf, Cress, Thorne, Princess Winter, and the palace guard Jacin find their happily ever afters? Fans will LOVE this amazing conclusion to the series.

So Fairest turned up, but I’m waiting for Winter so that I can (re)read the all again ready for the conclusion! I just can’t wait. Not only will we find out what happens to all the other characters, but I can’t wait to get to the ‘Snow White’ portion of this tale.

I never was a fan of the Disney film of Snow White, her hair and outfit were things I never liked and she seemed a little useless. However, the recent TV programme Once Upon A Time has given me a new love of the character and I’ve discovered in subsequent hunts, that there are very few retellings of Snow White compared to the vast quantity of others.

So far I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this series, I read them so close together I wrote a series review instead of individual ones. (This can be found HERE) I may re-review them individually when I read them again. I do think that you should always revisit a review once you’ve re-read a book, to see what’s changed – it may not be as different as it was in The Never Ending Story films, but close enough.

I really badly want Winter to be my favourite out of these stories, she’s a little bit mad and she’s already reminding me of a character of my own, it’ll be hard not to love her.
